Zambales Police Provincial Office has jurisdiction over the Province of Zambales which is bounded in the north by Pangasinan, in the south by Olongapo City, South China Sea in the west, and the provinces of Tarlac and Pampanga in the east. It has thirteen (13) municipalities composed of two hundred thirty (230) barangays. Of the thirteen (13) municipalities, five (5) are type “B” and eight (8) are type “C” categories. The province which is headed by Governor Hermogenes E Ebdane Jr is divided into two (2) political districts namely: District 1 which covers the municipalities of Subic, Castillejos and San Marcelino and District 2 includes the municipalities of San Antonio, San Narciso, San Felipe, Cabangan, Botolan, Iba, Palauig, Masinloc, Candelaria and Sta. Cruz. This province has a land area of 361,160 hectares with a total population of 504,313. The livelihoods of the local populace are basically farming and fishing
